When I used to come around my family, they treated me very badly but very since I stopped coming around and supporting them I know they miss me. If they don’t appreciate my presence, they will deal with my absence.
I feel like I was born into a hateful family and it’s not my fault. Every time I try to come and support them, even at funerals they are always rolling their eyes and trying to fight me and it’s always the women. Yet when I decide to stop coming around they claim I’m acting funny, when they know damn well they never liked me. They are something else. Whew lawd 🥴
Yep! They try to act like they don’t know what they doing, but they know exactly what they are doing. Now some of those same toxic mofos are going through it, and want to come cry on my shoulders 👀

My family make me feel like I’m a stranger. Keep in mind my older and younger cousins, act funny and these are the same people who used to spend the night, even when they were struggling. They all turned on me. It hurts of course, but unfortunately I’m used to be being hurt by them. That’s why I divorced them. I pray that God blessed me with my own family one day, because I know my future husband and future children will love me unconditionally 🙏🏾
Tren you are lucky to have family who actually love you, because it’s safe to say that I don’t know if my family love me or not. I’m fed up with them. All I can do is let God handle them.
My family has treated me like an outcast my whole life, I’ve always tried to have connections with them and no matter how hard I’ve tried it’s never worked and has only caused me pain over the years. Now I’m a full time nursing student who’s graduating this fall. There will be so many people clapping for me in the audience but sad to say, my own family won’t be there…. Congratulations. Don’t stress though. I learned to just text immediate family for their birthday, Xmas, etc. That’s as much communication as I’m trying to have with them. They don’t or have never supported me with anything.

Some of the most poisonous people come disguised as friends and family. Growing up means realizing a lot of your friends aren’t really your friends, just like family isn’t your family. Blood makes you related and loyalty makes you family. You know why strangers support you more than people you know? Because people that know you have a tough time accepting you come from the same place they do, but they’re still in the same place while you’ve moved forward.
I’m a twin and not only does the video resonate but also being a twin that’s aware of the favoritism can be tough at 1st. I seem to be the only one trying to break generational patterns and also starting my own businesses as well as making music . I’m not trying to sound better than anyone but I’m putting in that shadow work and I can clearly see who are agent Smiths even in Family..but ill always move with love regardless.
My parents never supported my makeup artist business and any other side hustle I had. My mom has a big network of women she could have referred to me. My parents talked down on me I now live in another state. The people I’ve met here are more supportive than my parents. I never had no one celebrate me. Thanks for this video Tren
