Full THUNDER Moon | Clear negativity | Start Anew | Change & Growth
July’s full moon is called the Full Thunder Moon, after the frequent thunderstorms that roll in during early summer. Thunderstorms are more likely to form in humid environments during summer because of the moist, hot air rising from the ground to the higher, colder parts of our atmosphere. The Full Thunder Moon is, therefore, a warning sign for a surprisingly dangerous time of the year.
The Full Thunder Moon is a great time for you to brush up on your lightning safety knowledge and educate other people as well. Feel free to head to the wild outdoors to observe deers whose velvety antlers are growing out during this period – which is why July’s full moon is also known as the Full Buck Moon – but also make sure to take the necessary safety precautions.
Also known as the “Buck Moon,” Native Americans long ago chose this name based on how male deer shed their antlers and start to grow a new set every year in July. Notice how this strong image suggests a time for change and growth.
If you’re looking for change and longing to move on to something new, the Thunder Moon is perfect for manifesting that.
In general, the full moon is an ideal time for clearing out negative or unwanted patterns and energies so you can start fresh, and the Thunder Moon is going to help with that a lot!
Some think of this as a time for cleansing. Should old wounds surface or past emotions flare up, that means they are ready to be cleared. Take this as a good sign that healing is possible and occurring. This could be the very change you want!
