In this course you will be given a step-by-step approach to mastering these powerful communication techniques, along with practical tools to motivate even your most difficult clients to access the power of their minds.
Dr. Patrick Porter will instruct students on how to go beyond basic rapport building to build effective communication skills that will benefit them in and out of a clinical setting. Students will learn how to determine what a client’s representational systems are and how to use those systems to maintain rapport with anyone they come in contact with, as well as being able to build a successful hypnosis session with a potential client. The class will then break down into minute detail the more in depth elements of building a relationship with a client that sets that client up for success. Students will learn the best ways to pace and lead clients, use outcome questions. More importantly students will have an understanding of different ways to use language to help clients view their world differently and achieve their goals. Students will also be instructed in the importance of anchoring clients and doing so in the proper fashion. Understanding client comfort levels and working within those boundaries is also discussed.
